Unforgettable Journey at AFMC Silhouettes: My Experience and Highlights

It is no understatement to say that my experience at AFMC Silhouettes was life-changing. The statement, often repeated by fellow alumni, You can't get AFMC out of you once you have been there, resonated deeply with me. During my time there, I participated in various events and faced new challenges that only strengthened my resolve.

First-Time Journey to Maharashtra

Traveling to Maharashtra from afar, and especially using the train for the first time, was a different experience altogether. It was the flavors of the train ride, the stories exchanged with seniors and friends, and the excitement of the unknown that made the journey spellbinding. After 28 hours of travel, a bus met us at the Pune station to take us to the AFMC campus. The feeling was indescribable, and the marvelous campus left me in awe from the very first moment.

Participation in Various Events

One of the highlights of my time at AFMC Silhouettes was the Kavyanjali Slam poetry competition. The anxiety of competing at a large-scale event was palpable, but I fortunately performed to the best of my abilities. Although I didn't expect to do well, winning second place in the poetry competition was a morale booster. The joy on the faces of my friends and the encouragement from my family and friends gave me the confidence to face my next challenge.

During the remainder of my stay, I participated in other competitions such as sketching, picture to canvas painting, and duet painting with Dr. Sonu Tanwar. Each event offered me valuable learning experiences, and I appreciated the interactions with fellow students and faculty.

Nightlife and Campus Life

The nights at AFMC were special. Events like Bhangra, DJ nights, and Star Night brought the campus to life, creating an atmosphere of joy and celebration. Exploring the beauty of the campus under the starlit sky and engaging in deep conversations with friends until late into the night were moments I will cherish for a lifetime.

The unique aura of the campus made it a place of comfort and inspiration. The picturesque surroundings and friendly community fostered a sense of belonging and camaraderie.

Bidding Farewell and Cherishing Memories

Bidding farewell to AFMC Silhouettes was a challenging moment. However, the memories we carried left us content and grateful. Those memories, encapsulated in dozens of bags, remain with us, offering us a sense of nostalgia and a reminder of our shared experiences and growth.

My journey at AFMC Silhouettes was more than a festival experience; it was a transformative phase in my life. The individuals I encountered, the events I participated in, and the moments I shared have left an enduring impact.
