Chalo fir pehle jaisi baat karte hain
Dobara ajnabee banke fir mulakaat karte hai…
Qurbat nahi-to-chal hasrat ka intezaam karte hai
Mere hisse ki nafrat hi mera naam karte hai…
Meri baatein mera jaane ke baad karne ko
Koi ruka hai zaman mein kisi ko yaad karne ko....
Kyu khuda bana rakh hai uski aankhon ko
Jise tere aansuon ki bhi izzat nahi hai
Ye jiske naam tune umr likhi hai apni
Usi ke liye do pal ki fursat nahi hai…
Mohabbat bhi ek si kis ke rahaa mili
Koi ko jeene ki hidayat aur koi marne ki wajah mili…
