Narendra Modi: A Champion for India's Economic Resurgence
Dear fellow Indians,
It has been seven years since the esteemed responsibility of serving as the Prime Minister of India was entrusted to me. I am Narendra Modi, and I am eager to share how far we've come and the challenges we've faced during my tenure.
The Inheritanced Thorns
When I was sworn in as Prime Minister, the situation was indeed daunting. The past ten years of misgovernance, corruption, and fraud left a trail of substantial foreign debt and ailing industries. The largest debts were as follows:
India's debonair with Iran: 48,000 crore crores (INR) Debt of the United Arab Emirates: 40,000 crore crores (INR) Loss of Indian fuel companies: 1,330,000 crore crores (INR) Loss of Indian Airlines: 58,000 crore crores (INR) Loss of Indian Railways: 22,000 crore crores (INR) BSNL loss: 1,500 crore crores (INR)Moreover, the military was ill-equipped with outdated weaponry and lacking essential protective gear like body armor. The situation looked bleak, and a war could have been catastrophic.
Systematizing and Reforming
My primary responsibility was to revamp and systematize the government. Thankfully, international fuel prices have dropped, but the savings haven't translated into direct benefits for the public. Nevertheless, I've had to make difficult decisions for future generations.
Alleviating the Debt Burden
The past government's foolishness has been a bane for us. They borrowed and bought crude oil without increasing prices to curb public outrage. They also borrowed a staggering 250,000 crore crores (INR) from foreign sources, with an annual interest of 25,000 crore crores (INR). We had to pay this to ensure fuel availability without hiccups. Are we taxed for fuel? Surely, our countrymen pay taxes on fuel to repay these debts efficiently.
For the purpose of debt repayment, we've responsibly raised taxes. Instead of 130 crore citizens, the responsibility cannot be borne solely by vehicle owners. We need to raise taxes on all fronts to ensure we stay on course to clear our debts and introduce new projects.
Infrastructure and Public Services
Here are some of the notable achievements and developments:
Electrification of 18,500 villages Providing 5 crore free gas connections to the poor Building hundreds of kilometers of new roads A medical insurance scheme worth 150,000 crore crores (INR) for 50 crore citizens Funding 150,000 crore crores (INR) in loans for the youth Equipping soldiers with state-of-the-art weaponry, including Rafale fighter jetsWhere did the funds come from? They were generated through your contributions when you purchase petrol and diesel. Without these funds, it would be impossible to service our debts and introduce new projects, hence the need to impose taxes.
Forward-Looking and National Unity
As a leader and father figure to our country, when a family is burdened with debt, the responsible action is to pay it off. Ignoring it for the sake of unwise spending will lead to dire consequences. This truth must be shared far and wide.
You, as patriotic citizens, should support the development of our nation. The current protest is nothing more than an electoral tactic, as some politicians attempt to mislead with false propaganda. Please, share this truth with all of India.
With heartfelt praise,
Narendra Modi
Long Live Mother India
Jai Hind!
As a final note, the eviction of 1500 squatters from Lutyens Bungalows underscores the assertion that the focus is consistently on Modi. This highlights a deep-rooted narrative that such actions might explain the enduring tension and criticism.
