AOM Art of Motorcycles: A Review of Services and Customer Experience

Introduction

Recently, I had the unfortunate experience of visiting AOM Art of Motorcycles in Adugodi, Bangalore, and I have to say, it was a disappointingly negative experience. While they specialize in bike modifications, the quality of their services and customer experience leaves much to be desired. In this article, I will share my observations and feedback regarding this bike service center.

Positive Aspects

One of the few positive aspects of AOM is their specialization in bike modifications. If you are looking to customize your bike, they do offer that service. It's important to note, however, that their prices for modifications are significantly high, putting a significant burden on those interested in customization. Their service is not without its drawbacks, but it's worth considering for those with the budget.

Cons and Negative Experiences

Attitude of Staff

My first negative experience was with staff member Zoheb. His unprofessional behavior was notably rude and lacking in basic customer service skills. It was clear that he did not prioritize customer satisfaction, which is a critical aspect of any service-oriented business.

Service Quality

The bike servicing at AOM is abysmal. They failed to properly diagnose and address the issues with my bike. Instead, they resorted to breaking bike parts and claiming that the parts were already broken or malfunctioning to justify additional charges for part replacements. This practice is both unethical and misleading.

Service Charges and Pricing

The service charges at AOM are outrageously expensive, regardless of the bike model. It seems that their primary focus is on making money rather than providing fair and reasonable pricing. This made me feel like I was being taken advantage of, which is understandable considering the poor service.

Customer Service and Efficiency

In terms of customer service, AOM falls short of expectations. They have a habit of making customers wait for at least half an hour, which is unacceptable for a service center. This lack of respect for customer time is a strong indication that they do not prioritize efficient service.

Unprofessionalism and Bias

Lastly, it is worth mentioning that the positive reviews on Google seem to be paid, as they do not align with the actual experience at AOM. Additionally, the professionalism of the staff, particularly Zoheb, seems to be based on age. I, as a young customer between the ages of 20 and 25, experienced Zoheb's condescending attitude firsthand. It is unnecessary and disrespectful to belittle customers based on their age, especially when seeking expertise.

Conclusion

Overall, my experience with AOM was disappointing, and I cannot recommend this service center to anyone. If you have concerns about the quality of bike servicing and customer support, it would be wise to seek alternative service centers. AOM seems more focused on making money rather than providing quality bike servicing, which is why I believe it should be renamed AOMM (Art of Making Money) instead of AOM (Art of Motorcycle).
